Review: It's been a while since I read a book by Sandra Brown, but I'm really glad I remedied that. friction is a wonderful suspense book. I can't say that some of it isn't a bit predictable, but it's still interesting, entertaining and gripping.

The characters are all wonderfully portrayed and consistent, even the bad guys. The only thing I found difficult to believe was Georgia's easy acceptance of Holly. Georgia is Crawford's five year old daughter). Based on the experience with my own kids and taking into account Georgia's history, I would expect her to be a bit more wary of strangers. Still, this is a minor detail that does not affect at all the way the story flows.

There's also a lovely romance between Crawford and Holly, but it's almost secondary to the main suspense plot and still riveting too. Friction is a book that has a bit of everything, in the exactly right proportion. You will not want to put it down and I totally recommend it.

Happy readings,
